Badland Rock Spires

Located east of the village of Scarskin is a barren patch of hell blasted landscape known as the Badland Rock Spires. The superstitious tribe of Scarskin believes that the spires hold the souls of all the young exiled into the wasteland that never return home. Haunted by spirits from the netherworld, the Badland Rock Spires are the edge of the known world to the tribals of Scarskin.

Turner's Corner

Just north of the fishing town of Shape Home, a treacherous hangout known as Turner's Corner resides. The mercenary hangout draws scum from all over the wasteland. If a daring young adventurer seeks fame and fortune, Turner's corner is either the road to riches or a shallow grave.

Rasheed

The city state of Rasheed is the focal point of civilization in the southern reaches of the Darken Realm (TM). This mighty city is led by the powerful King Toil, a favored monarch by his subjects. The king leads with a kind heart but an iron fist towards those that would oppose a just peace.

Godhome

After the great apocalypse, wise and powerful genetic engineers fled the destroyed cities and created a paradise away from the radioactive fallout and chaos. Before they passed into legend, the scientists created new forms of life, unleashing them upon the wasteland. The ancient laboratory that the scientists lived is known as Godhome, a ruin eagerly sought by historians and treasure hunters alike.

Guillotine

Since Banion O'Neil's retirement from the world of war and bloodshed, the vile mutant Guillotine has filled the void left by the legendary mercenary. It is whispered that this cunning and dangerous mercenary has ties to the dread Reaper Kai empire and is currently working missions in the southern reaches of the Darken Realm (TM).

The Runner

Not much is known about The Runner. Hailing from the battered Concrete Barrens, an ancient city decimated by nuclear weapons, this enigmatic arms dealer provides old world weapons scoured from the ruins of old to wealthy nobles and dangerous gunmen alike. One must be cautious to deal with such a dangerous arms dealer.

Banion O'Neil

Banion O'Neil has lived a life full of bloodshed and adventure. This potent mercenary is a thing of legend. The fragmented life of Banion begins in the coastal town of Dune Station. Legend has it a bloody revolt erupted in the coastal town just prior to Banion's disapearance from society. After the great revolt, the crazed mercenary headed into the wastelands seeking release from his own madness, eventually working for the mighty city state of Rasheed.

Navezgane, The Witch Hunter

A legend abounds in the southern reaches of the Darken Realm. It is said that a mighty, powerful child of the spirits roams the wasteland in search of evil. The supernatural warrior is said to lay waste to all that would oppose his will. The legend of Navezgane is a tale as twisted as the battered earth. Some believe he is a messiah, others believe he is nothing more than a butcher.
