About the books:
For countless generations, the village of Scarskin has exiled its youth into the wastelands of the Darken Realm® as a rite of passage into adulthood. Those exiled are supposed to scour the ruins of the battered
world for ancient relics and lost technologies. Twenty full moons must rise before the youth can return home and take their
place in Scarskin society...
...but only if they survive.
In the history of Scarskin, many exiled youth ran the gauntlet and pushed east from the village into the barren
wasteland. In all the generations, not a single youth exiled had ever returned from the east. It was whispered
amongst the villagers that the eastern wasteland was filled with deadly peril. With an air of adventure and a need to
explore the unknown, the newest exiles from Scarskin put caution to the wind and set out to uncover the mysteries of the eastern
wasteland. This is their story.
